Music Set Her Free

Friday 28th July will see the release of the new single by A J Green UK entitled Music Set Her Free. This will be the second single from the forthcoming album ‘Before The End’. The idea was to write a song telling a story similar to a musical film in 4 minutes 14 seconds. The story is about a girl who had very little growing up. Any hobbies or dreams of anything she wanted to do were beaten out of her by her parents. She was living a very sad and lonely life.

When she hit her teenage years she began to rebel. This led to more aggression from her parents, so she decided to run away to London. When she arrived in London she met a busker who played guitar. She started to find a love for music and when he showed her how to play guitar. She found it to be like a magical spell. she would close her eyes and listen to the sound of that old beat up acoustic guitar and it gave her solace and took her far away from her upbringing and trouble. She had never heard rock and roll music before and “The Music Set Her Free.”

Before The End

The first single from the album Before The End has had radio play in The UK and USA. It also stopped at number one in the local Reverbnation Rock Chart and the top 20 in the national chart. The track is also getting played on Amazing TV. Find out more info on this track here

Record / Publishing Deal

On 10th May 2023 A J Green UK signed a 3 song record / publishing deal with Music Gateway. This is for 3 instrumental ambient sounding tracks. 2 of these tracks will be on the forthcoming album with vocals. I will bring you more information on how, and where these tracks are used in due course. There is also a planned meeting on Thursday 13th July with Rexius Records.
