Soundslice

Since the start of the pandemic I have used something called Soundslice this has been the best learmig tool I have ever seen for guitar. I send my students a link to what we are working on and then the student can see a video of myself playing the piece, the music and tablature. The student can then slow down the piece of music, loop sections that they may want to practise and also make the video larger to be able to see techniques not only close up but with the ability to slow the video down. This has been very popular with all my students. The video below will shows how this works.

Changes To Soundslice Access

Until now my soundslices have been totally free for everyone to access who is in the soundslice community. I have put countless hours into developing these slices and I will contine to do more and more slices. However I have a report from soundslice every week that informs me of how many views my slices get. Some of the slices have views in the thousands. This is due to it being open to anyone who wants to view them. The work I put into these was never supposed to be for a free resource and was for the benefit of my students only. I still want my students to be able to use this at no extra cost. So I plan to take off all my slices from public community view by Thursday 14/04/22.

How To Gain Access to A J Green Tuition Soundslice

Access will still be free of charge for my students. In order to access all of my slices you will need to make a free account with Soundslice go to www.soundslice.com you will then see the following

Then click Get Started for Free you will then see the following page.

Fill out the form remember to create a unique Username and remember this. ( I will need to know your username to add you to my student list.) Check your E-Mail account as you will have to varify your account by clicking a link sent by email. When you have done this log into soundslice and click the drop down menu to go to soundslice community and search for AJGreenGuitarTuition.

What’s The Catch

There is absolutley no catch. Once you follow me on soundslice I will be made aware via E-Mail and can add you as a student. I can add a maximum of 100 students before I have to start paying more for this service. Thefore it will only be one account per student. If you need to change the account at any time due to a change in E-Mail address just let me know. I will delete the old account and add the new one. You will be able to have access to all old and new slices as long as you are taking lessons.

When Are You Going Back To Face To Face Lessons?

I am planning on going back to face to face lessons in May. There will still be the option to stay online and everyone will still have the benefit of Soundslice. I will post more details and speak to people about returning to, face to face lessons closer to the time. Those having online lessons at the moment will have their place secured for the return of face to face lessons.
